Above the Tide

This watercolor piece was created for my project "Improbable Possibilities", where I explored surreal ideas by blending reality with imagination. It shows whales swimming through the sky, as if the clouds were the ocean, viewed from an airplane window.
I wanted to take something familiar like flying and turn it into something unexpected and dreamlike. Using a limited color palette and soft watercolor textures, I focused on creating a calm, atmospheric feeling while letting the concept stand out. The piece plays with perspective and scale, encouraging viewers to see ordinary moments in a more imaginative way.
