This project was one of my first times working with watercolor, and proved challenging yet exciting. It is a watercolor study of childhood longing and innocent loss, of small heartbreaks that feel enormous when we're young. It took a while to get the hang of it, but in the end it inspired my love for one of my favorite mediums to this day.
