Through Little Eyes

This series of paintings was inspired by my childhood, and games we would play as a kid. They were made to be viewed from the perspective of a kid, as if the viewer is there playing with them. The first is ding dong ditch, where the viewer is hiding with two little girls while their friends go and ring the doorbell. The second is riding on the back of a bike with your friends, racing home before the sun goes down. The last is hide and seek, with you slightly opening the door as your friend peeks out. It gives a feeling of nostalgia but also melancholy as you remember the days that used to be.
